SCOTD: Tai Chi and Writing

Today I did a writing class and Tai Chi for free on Event Brite.


It’s important to maintain feelings of connectedness with others which is hard in the middle of a pandemic. Social Media is okay but sometimes feeling like you are literally in a space with new and/or different people real time is nice. Needed.


One of the ways I stay connected is going to online events that are free, cheap and donation based (especially when proceeds go to charity). This is great to support self-employed artists as well as charities. I encourage people to look into doing this. Especially since you can remain muted or without video for a lot of things (if you are too anxious to meet new people in the online format).
